Why does daily mail app keep freezing

Mail itself opens ok, then I can literally send one email or send and receive once before the spinning colour wheel appears and the app freezes up. I have to force quit and try again. This may not help, but I'd select each mailbox and use the menu bar item Mailbox -> Rebuild to rebuild each one.

The app may keep crashing due to a memory glitch in your device and turning your device on and off may well solve that problem.
