Dec 13, 2019 · Hi this is really needed because currently the "lightning__Tab" target config for a LWC component is pointless as the tab will always stays in "Loading" state ... I do think that for this use case, the component should trigger an event rather than call the API directly as we always says "event up" and that the component is a child of the tab.
